• Process: Often working on Mondays, teams sort cash, verify envelope amounts against donor records, fill out reports, and prepare secure deposits.
• Security & Integrity: This is a confidential, “behind the scenes” ministry requiring volunteers to be discreet, honest, and detail-oriented.
• Structure: Volunteers work in rotating teams to minimize risk and share responsibility, with training typically provided by the money counting
  coordinator.
• Compliance: All money counters must complete online Diocesan Safe Environment Training (namely the modules entitled “financial management and cash handling” and “money handler”)
