CHARACTERISTICS OF THE GENOVEVIAN FAMILY
Sharing the charism: Lay people not only collaborate in apostolic tasks but are also imbued with the spirituality and specific charism of the Congregation of the Angelic Religious (Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Holy Angels). This implies a shared formation to live and transmit this charism.
Diversity of vocations: The Genovevian Family respects the identity of each state of life. Lay people contribute their secular experience, while consecrated people offer their testimony of a life dedicated to God.
Beyond tasks: It is not limited to a division of administrative or apostolic labor, but involves sharing faith, community life, and spirituality, building a true fraternity.
Mutual enrichment: Collaboration strengthens both consecrated people, who are enriched by the lay perspective, and lay people, who deepen their Christian vocation through the religious charism.
Ecclesial Orientation: The Genovevian Family transcends the particular charism of an institute and is inserted into the universal mission of the Church, seeking the common good and integral evangelization.
