For pastoral and safety reasons, the Diocese is suspending the public celebration of worship, including Sunday, weekday and other Holy Masses until further announcements.
By reason of this emergency, a general dispensation is given from the Sunday and Holy Day obligation.
Saturday confessions are cancelled. Private confession can be scheduled by calling the office and arranging for a private appointment.
Drive through confessions will be held on Saturdays from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in front of the Scanlan building.
The Parish office will be open from 9am to 5pm, except for the lunch hour noon to 1:00 pm.
Parish meetings, retreats and events are cancelled.
The St. Therese Gift Shop is closed.
Our Mother's food pantry is closed.
Cinco de Mayo has been cancelled. Our plan is to reschedule it sometime in the late summer or the early fall.
Quince años, weddings, and baptisms planned for April or May should be rescheduled, ideally for the late summer (end of July beginning of August). Trying to schedule these celebrations as early as possible runs the very real risk of backfiring if corona virus restrictions are not lifted early.
Our May 18 Confirmation date has been suspended. There will be no religious education Confirmations on May 18.
Confirmations and Baptisms scheduled for the Easter Vigil are suspended and won’t be celebrated on the Easter Vigil. These celebrations will likely be scheduled for the end of July or the beginning of August.
